1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sideline Command ("GC," "the Service," "we," "us," or "our") at sidelinecommand.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, our Acceptable Use Policy, and, where applicable, our Children's Privacy Notice.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We may modify these Terms at any time as described in Section 16.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
If you are creating an account on behalf of an organization (league, team, school), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Players (minors) do not create accounts. Their data is entered and managed by authorized coaches and parents/guardians.

3. Account Registration & Security

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must immediately notify us at support@sidelinecommand.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may not share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

4.1 Plans & Pricing

Sideline Command offers subscription plans ranging from $9.99 to $19.99 per month. Current pricing and plan details are available on our website. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

4.2 Free Trial

New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged at the applicable rate.

4.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@sidelinecommand.com. Upon cancellation:

You retain access to paid features through the end of your current billing period
No further charges will be made
Your data is retained and accessible (read-only for premium features) unless you request deletion

4.5 Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may offer refunds on a case-by-case basis for billing errors, service outages, or other exceptional circumstances. Contact support@sidelinecommand.com for refund requests.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

"User Content" includes plays, formations, playbooks, scripts, team rosters, game data, messages, photos, and any other content you create or upload to the Service.

You own your User Content. We do not claim ownership of your plays, formations, playbooks, or other creative work.

5.2 License Grant

By uploading User Content, you grant Sideline Command a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you and your authorized team members. This license terminates when you delete your content or your account.

5.3 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you have the right to upload and share all content you provide and that it does not violate any third party's rights.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users through the messaging system or any other feature
Create fake, misleading, or impersonating accounts
Upload content that is obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or inappropriate for a youth sports environment
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure or security
Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages
Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit default system playbooks
Circumvent any security measures, rate limits, or access controls

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

Sideline Command, including its name, logo, design, code, default playbooks, system plays, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Dymond Inc. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without written permission.

7.2 Default Playbooks

System-provided default playbooks and plays are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use within the Service. You may modify copies assigned to your account but may not redistribute the originals or bulk exports commercially.

7.3 NFL & NCAA Disclaimer

NFL, the NFL shield design, and team names, logos, and uniform designs are registered trademarks of the National Football League and its member teams. NCAA, college team names, and logos are trademarks of their respective institutions. Sideline Command is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NFL, NCAA, or any of their member organizations. Any references to professional or college football concepts (play types, formations, terminology) are used in their generic, commonly understood sense within the sport of football.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with and relies on third-party services including Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Google Analytics, GoHighLevel, OpenAI, and Sentry. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content or practices of linked sites.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:

The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
Any particular play, formation, or strategy will be effective in actual games
The Service will produce any particular game outcome or competitive advantage
Data will be preserved in all circumstances (though we maintain regular backups)

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DYMOND INC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Any loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
Any on-field injuries, accidents, or health incidents that occur during sporting events, regardless of whether the Service was used in planning or managing the event
Decisions made based on information displayed in or generated by the Service

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dymond Inc and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third party's rights
User Content you submit to the Service

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to first contact us at support@sidelinecommand.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

12.2 Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures. The arbitration will be conducted in the State of California. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding.

12.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of this arbitration provision shall be null and void.

12.4 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12.5 Exceptions

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in court for claims related to intellectual property infringement or unauthorized access.

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by emailing support@sidelinecommand.com.

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. In cases of severe violation (e.g., illegal activity, harassment), we may terminate without prior notice.

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately
Your data will be soft-deleted and retained for a reasonable period to allow recovery in case of accidental termination
You may request permanent deletion of all your data by contacting us
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution) will continue in effect

14. Data Deletion

To request complete deletion of your account and associated data:

Email support@sidelinecommand.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request"
We will verify your identity
All associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
This action is irreversible

15. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance when possible.

16. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes:

We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
We will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification before material changes take effect
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance
If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service before the effective date

17. General Provisions

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Children's Privacy Notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dymond Inc regarding the Service.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
